The overall change in fuel prices over the past quarter has been dramatic. Please be advised that if this trend continues unabated, we will move to reviewing fuel costs on a more frequent basis (presently quarterly). This is likely to be monthly.

In the meantime, we have now completed a review of our BAF over the past quarter covering the inter-island trade between Tonga and the Samoaâ??s and vice versa and wish to advise that effective from mid August 2008, the BAF will be increasing by 12.5% from 35% to:

BAF: 47.5%

The new baf will come into effect from the following vessel/voyage: -

Southern Lily V207 eta Nukuâ??alofa 13 August, Apia 13/08 and Pago Pago 14/08
