Australian northbound BAF review
Ex Australia to Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu
Over the past few weeks’ global fuel prices have reached new record high levels, with the most recent spike in prices having started it ascent during September 2007. There is no sign that prices will materially ease in the near future and in fact overnight prices reached US$100 per barrel.
Accordingly, we have now completed a review of our BAF over the past quarter from Australia to Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu and wish to advise that effective from early February 2008, the BAF will be increasing to:
BAF: AUD945.00 per 20’ AUD1890.00 per 40’ AUD45.00 per r/t for break bulk
The new baf will come into effect from the following vessel/voyage: -
