Shipping in the South Pacific
The reliability of our service to Wallis & Futuna has been affected lately by strains beyond our control but also by technical issues experienced by the Southern Moana; moreover the volumes carried by our companies have been mechanically increased following the rationalisation of our services.
Dear Valued Clients,
At the express request of the Owners of the Southern Cross, the partner lines have been negotiating with the Owners for a suitable re-delivery date of the vessel. It has now been agreed for the Southern Cross v54 to make her final Australia – Noumea rotation, as the vessel will be offhired in Noumea on 21ST August 2007, for delivery back to Europe.
The current charter party of the Southern Moana will expire very soon and the vessel will be re-delivered to her Owners early January.
Dear valued clients,
During the 1st quarter of 2008 we have been moving our Australian export cargoes destined for New Caledonia via the Auspac Service (operating from Australia to Fiji, Tonga & Samoa’s). This has been under a three (3) month trial.
