RSS (Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary) is a way for web sites to summarise their content, such as news articles or blog entries, and deliver headlines, descriptions, and links for easy, clutter-free access to the information you want most. The information is delivered through a "feed." The feeds are collected by an RSS newsreader application.
Many web sites generate RSS feeds such as the BBC News (RSS), Yahoo News (RSS), and probably your favourite blog.
An RSS newsreader, sometimes called a news aggregator, sets up an automated delivery of information (a feed) to your desktop. It lets you read the information in the same newsreader interface. A newsreader may also help organise feeds for easy referral.
Many web browsers, including Mozilla's Firefox and Apple's Safari (Mac OSX 10.4 Tiger only) browsers, can read and display RSS feeds.
Note: Right-click or copy the RSS feed link and paste it into your RSS feed reader.
